If your are an elected or appointed department or detachment officer, or you are a recipient of the Legion of Honor, you may nominate a candidate or candidates. Please exercise your nominating privilege with great care. We rely on you to protect the integrity of the award. There is a nominating sheet <A HREF="c4c_nomi.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="C4C Nom">CLICK HERE</A>. It is important that the nominating statement specifically describes the nominee's selfless service. This may include, but is not limited to, service to community, place of worship, and civic, fraternal and veterans organizations. In all cases, the selfless service must go above and beyond that required by professional or organizational position. Please be specific as possible, and include the nominee's full name, address and telephone number.
