It is the culmination of a year full of volunteer work and activity with the League. This is the time to celebrate the successes and to commiserate over the not so successful!</div> <div> I encourage you and your Detachment Commandants to relay the following:</div> <div> A) I am attaching a copy of the <A HREF="#reg" TITLE="National">Registration Page</A>. It behooves all of our members to get this filled out and sent (with their check) to aid in the planning of a successful Convention.</div> <div> B) I am enclosing an <A HREF="#ads" TITLE="National">Application for ads in the Convention Program</A>. This is a great way to publicize your organization or company. It as an opportunity to change your newsletter for the better. </div> <div> Two big changes: one is the range of detachment membership for each level, i.e.: 50/100 and over. Departments have their own category. The other is that we have added another category for best stories. Three chances for best story. </div> <div> Please, if you must wait until the last moment to send in your 3 copies of newsletters, use Priority Mail envelopes. You can stuff them mightily and pay only a flat rate of $4.05. A bargain. Other options are just too expensive. </div> <div> Remember, envelopes must arrive at the 442 Honeylynn lane, Grants Pass, OR 97527-9013 by June 20th - no exceptions. </div> <div> I hope you will continue to enter the competition.
